We are doing a Clothes Run,so anyone has old clothes which is good and clean do let us know ,you can either send it to an address or let us know we could pick it up from your place in Chennai.

These clothes could benefit orphanages,old age homes, and families who cant afford to buy a shirt,pant,lady’s tops,sari’s,t shirt’s etc.We are looking at  the 15th of September 2010 to start distributing.

If you would also like to donate toiletries  tooth brushes,toothpaste,powder,hair oil,soaps etc this would really be helpful to the old age homes.

You can contact us at details on our contact us page.If you know of any family that is poor and needs clothes etc let us know a lot of people have been very generous in giving us some brand new clothes , we could use this to give someone a birthday or anniversary gift or a gift to bring a smile !!!

We are also helping another organization in Calcutta which is dedicated to helping Women who have been abandonded by society and also women who have been forced into the sex trade,this organisation is called ‘Sari Bari’ and they help women start a new life and provide employment.This organization makes handbags,wallets etc out of  Cotton Saree’s and these are been sold online to support these women and help them lead a normal life .

What we need? we are looking at donating about 100 cotton sarees towards this cause and we belive we can help a small bit in getting these women off the streets,so far this organisation has helped remove about 300 people from the streets and provide them a living.
